Who is NATE and what does it do?
NATE (North American Technician Excellence, Inc.) is an independent, third party certification body for air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating technicians. NATE provides testing for technicians. We at Duron Smith A/C & Heat, Inc. provide training through factory certified training and various other outlets.
We require ALL of our field staff to be NATE certified. You will notice many companies advertise the NATE logo but who is NATE certified? The owner, the service manager, or just a handful of technicians?
We believe by providing our clients with NATE certified technicians, they can feel assured we will fix it right the first time.
